Job summary

AECOM is hiring a Labor Compliance Specialist for Public Works Construction in California. The role is full-time and hybrid, located in Orange, CA. • US citizenship required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor and subcontractor CPRs for accuracy and compliance with California prevailing wage laws.
• Verify proper classification of workers, wage rates, overtime calculations, and fringe benefit reporting.
• Confirm compliance with DIR Public Works requirements and applicable wage determinations.
• Identify and flag labor compliance violations such as underpayment, misclassification, or incomplete payroll submissions.
• Communicate discrepancies and required corrections to contractors and project management teams.
• Track payroll submissions and maintain organized compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to apprenticeship utilization and reporting requirements when applicable.
• Support audits or documentation requests related to labor compliance.
