Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking an epidemiologist to serve as a data-driven consultant for STI, HIV and VH programs. You will perform statistical analyses, manage data interoperability, and develop dashboards to inform public health decisions for Colorado communities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and partners, data quality reviews, and communication of complex findings to diverse audiences. Residency in Colorado is required.

Qualificações

• Six (6) years of relevant experience in data analysis and data management using tools such as Python, R, SQL or SAS; experience in statistical analysis.
• Ability to analyze population, claims, and surveillance data.
• Experience providing epidemiological, scientific, and statistical support.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports for diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the epidemiological consultant for the Program and the Office.
• Determine and perform statistical analyses using appropriate software.
• Analyze population, claims, and surveillance data relevant to STI, HIV, and VH.
• Create dashboards, presentations, and reports to illustrate data results.
• Communicate data findings to internal staff and external stakeholders.
