Job summary

ViaPath Technologies in Altoona, PA is seeking a Project Manager within the PMO to lead tasks ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives for the contract.

The role is hybrid with up to 75% travel. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years PM experience are needed, with PM/Agile certifications preferred. The team collaborates across departments to deliver complex telecom system projects for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience; master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• PM certification and/or Agile certifications preferred.
• Experience with Wi-Fi installation projects and customer networks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from conception through completion; lead teams responsible for analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and implementation of telecommunications systems.
• Oversee day-to-day installation activity operations across locations and projects.
• Direct management of moderate to large project budgets, including vendor expenditures and cost objectives.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and ensure resource availability.
• Regularly communicate program status to executive leadership and deliver project plans and status reports.
