Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking a Project Manager to lead protection and automation initiatives in a hybrid work setting. You will manage project scope, cost, schedule, and technical performance across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years PM experience including contract management and P&L, MS Project proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 20%. PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• 3+ years hands-on project management expertise including contract management and P&L responsibility.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.
• Manage the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s).
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status.
• Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Proactive Risk identification and Mitigation.
• Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects.
• Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.
