Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Program Manager to advise Government Business and Medicaid leadership across markets. You will drive strategy, manage a diverse portfolio from ideation to value realization, and deliver concise executive analytics and updates.

The role requires 1–3 years in project management in healthcare or government programs, with strong skills in leadership, communication, and risk management. Hybrid work with onsite days is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 1-3 years experience in a project manager role or in a project leadership role.
• Preferred: Healthcare payer, managed care, or government-program business knowledge.
• Preferred: Experience with an industry-standard software/product development lifecycle (requirements, testing, implementation, adoption).
• Preferred: Proficiency with portfolio-management, dashboards, reporting, or workflow tools such as Monday.com, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Drive program strategy and approach with business and technical teams.
• Plan and maintain a cross-functional program roadmap.
• Assemble and lead project teams for defined programs.
• Develop comprehensive plans and monitor scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide executive updates and risk assessments throughout the lifecycle.
• Foster positive customer relationships and deliver executive-ready presentations.
