Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team in Houston, TX or Atlanta, GA. You will lead engineering projects for major energy and utility clients, focusing on technical execution, encroachment/relocation design, constructability, and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent experience.
• 6-7 years of related experience, including 3+ years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary client contact and maintain strong client satisfaction.
• Portfolio Management: Handle multiple projects from opportunity through execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Interdisciplinary Leadership: Lead technical, cost, and schedule decisions across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Innovative Problem Solving: Develop practical engineering solutions with sound judgment.
• Project Delivery Oversight: Coordinate teams, subcontractors, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and reporting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and agencies.
