Job summary

Our client in Foster City, CA is seeking a Project Manager (Drug Development) to oversee coordination and progression of scientific research projects in a highly collaborative, cross-functional matrix.

Responsibilities include starting up or managing research-based development subteams, supporting governance meetings for clinical development, and guiding cross-functional teams to define objectives, milestones, schedules, resources and risk management; on-site presence required at least 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or project management.
• MS degree with 5+ years in relevant experience preferred.
• Direct experience or strong foundation in drug development process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Starting up or managing research-based development subteams.
• Assist in governance meetings for clinical development.
• Work with cross-functional project teams to build and develop the team, diagnose health and address issues.
• Organize cross-functional project teams, define objectives and scope, identify tasks, milestones, schedules, resources and risks.
• Manage multiple cross-functional tasks simultaneously.
