Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to lead architecture and engineering projects from Sacramento, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing scope, schedule and budget, and delivering high quality results for federal and municipal projects.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering, 6+ years in the A/E sector, and a Professional Engineer license. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Six plus years of related experience in the A/E consulting industry or equivalent
• Licensed PE
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline projects for Federal or Municipal clients

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of contact with a client and preparing scope and fee proposals for multi-discipline projects
• Directing professional and technical staff to complete a wide variety of architectural and engineering projects
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for project execution
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget while meeting client expectations with high quality
• Developing and monitoring a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and identify shortfalls
• Leading change management and facilitating project meetings with minutes
• Tracking and managing finances on projects
• Leading projects through the full lifecycle from identification to capture, execution, construction and closeout
