P.W. Grosser Consulting (PWGC) is seeking a Project Hydrogeologist/Environmental Scientist to support compliance, environmental, and engineering projects across New York and New England.

The role balances field investigations with office work and offers opportunities to grow your license and expertise. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Geology, Environmental Science, Mining/Geological Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in New York State.
• Experience with stormwater management, SWPPP preparation, and stormwater permit compliance.
• Strong technical writing skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on compliance, environmental, and engineering projects, including field investigations for large and complex sites.
• Develop and apply knowledge of regulations, permits, and permitting frameworks including dredging, wetlands, stormwater, and SPDES requirements.
• Prepare joint application forms for dredging/marine projects and coordinate with NYSDEC and USACE.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain SWPPPs; conduct stormwater inspections, monitoring, and sampling.
