Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a Project Director for Blizzard Video to oversee creative development and production of trailers across Blizzard game franchises. You will guide a multidisciplinary team through discovery, production, and delivery, acting as liaison with stakeholders to meet strategic goals.

The role is hybrid (on-site and remote) with a potential Irvine, CA home studio and a six-month temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as director/creative lead in games, advertising, or branded content

Responsibilities

• Lead creative on game trailers, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact content.
• Direct end-to-end production: capture, editorial, motion, sound design, and music.
• Develop custom pitches for new projects and lead pitch meetings with clients.
• Manage external partners to ensure vision alignment and quality standards.
• Collaborate with editorial, motion graphics, and capture teams to showcase strengths.
• Maintain transparent communication and adapt to feedback and change.
• Foster a hands-on, collaborative leadership style across the production cycle.
