Job summary

Kranz Consulting is seeking a Project Controller in a hybrid role based in Fremont, CA. The position partners with project managers to manage budgets, schedules, and costs, ensuring transparency in performance and driving cost controls across projects.

The candidate will forecast ETC/EAC, prepare cost reports, and identify savings and risks before they impact outcomes. Six Sigma or PMP credentials are beneficial, with strong Excel and ERP experience supporting budget accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting analysis.
• Experience working with Project Managers and multi-project oversight.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets.
• Track cost variances against budget and forecast ETC/EAC.
• Document and communicate changes in scope, cost, and schedule, including change orders.
• Partner with PMs and site leadership to drive budget accountability.
• Prepare and maintain project cost, schedule, and risk analyses.
