Job summary

Interior Talent, Inc is seeking a Project Architect in San Francisco to lead complex high-end residential and commercial projects from concept through construction. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and design teams, managing resources, schedules, and budgets while upholding design excellence.

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited architecture degree required.
• Licensed architect in California or in licensure process.
• 7–10 years of interior architecture for high-end residential, multi-family, hospitality, and/or commercial projects.
• Proficiency with Construction Administration tools/workflows (e.g., Procore).
• Strong detailing, construction documents, and QA/QC capabilities.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from schematic design through construction administration, including permitting and plan checks.
• Act as point of contact for Construction Administration.
• Monitor and direct on-site contractor activities during construction administration.
• Coordinate with consultants and manage scheduling and budgets.
• Lead design, detailing, and full documentation of interior and exterior architecture on selected projects.
• Produce outline specs and schedules; manage production deadlines and deliverables.
• Review design and documentation for Planning and Building Code compliance.
• Lead design presentations for clients and internal teams.
• Perform redlining and peer reviews for project QA/QC.
• Support Project Managers in tracking scope, deliverables, and milestones.
