Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Accounting Analyst to join our Project Accounting group in a hybrid role (3 days in office). The position supports multiple TX offices including Houston and Frisco, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, revenue recognition, WIP analysis, and client invoicing.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelorc s degree in accounting/finance, at least 3 years of related experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Entry level classification with bachelor5s degree in accounting, Finance or Business preferred (or equivalent working knowledge/experience in Accounting or Finance)
• A minimum of 3+ years of related experience
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain an individual project portfolio with a mix of low to medium complexity projects.
• Provide salary rates for pricing proposals and establish project budgets with the PM and project team.
• Review and input margin analysis, contract terms, and invoicing requirements.
• Collaborate with Contracts Administration for document control and ensure timely submittals.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue recognition, WIP, burn rates, and estimates to complete.
• Support in audits and coordinate with Billing on invoicing and OH adjustments.
