Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Accounting Analyst to join the Project Accounting group in a hybrid role (3 days in office). The position supports budgets, revenue recognition, WIP analysis, and contract billing across multiple offices including Austin/Frisco/Houston/San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include partnering with PMs, reviewing contracts, and generating monthly financial reports. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business with at least 3 years of

Qualifications

• Entry level preferred with bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
• Strong planning and communication abilities; Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a project portfolio with low to medium complexity projects.
• Provide salary rates for pricing proposals and budget updates with PM input.
• Review margin analysis and contract terms, modifications, and billing formats.
• Coordinate subcontract agreements and manage subconsultant financials for projects.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue recognition and WIP.
• Support revenue recognition decisions and interim adjustments as needed.
• Analyze WIP before monthly billing to manage revenue recognition accuracy.
• Prepare monthly project financial reports with KPIs for reviews.
