Job summary

William & Mary’s Advancement Information Services team seeks a Programmer/Analyst II to provide programming and development for university advancement applications. You will design, develop, and deploy software solutions, perform data reporting, and collaborate with end-users and technical staff to support the university’s fundraising systems.

This hybrid role in Williamsburg, VA requires a Master’s in CS or related field (or equivalent) and solid experience in C#, Java, PHP, or other languages,

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Working knowledge of C#, Java, PHP or other common programming languages.
• Solid experience programming in SQL.
• Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
• Familiarity with fundraising operations best practices and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• 50% - Programming and Development for Advancement Applications: Architect and Develop Software Solutions; design, develop, and optimize complex software systems and integrations.
• Lead code reviews and mentorship; provide guidance and ensure code quality.
