Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multi-functional programs through the development and implementation lifecycle. This role directly impacts the delivery of HPE products and services by managing schedules, budgets, and cross-company communications.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, coordinate with global teams, and drive innovation while ensuring compliance and alignment with roadmaps. Hybrid work requires 2 days/week in a US office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Flexible working hours and schedule to coordinate across global teams.
• Demonstrated success managing all aspects of programs, including scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional resource coordination.
• Proven ability to communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options at senior management levels.
• Experience working with internal manufacturing and development partners in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive engineering development and implementation for product or service offerings.
• Develop and direct schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation plans for assigned programs.
• Oversee activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners, adjusting schedules and resources based on analysis of business information to meet product requirements.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal partners to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to budgets and roadmaps.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects within the manufacturing and engineering organization.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
• Engage with external parties such as standards bodies and partners as needed to support program objectives.
• Drive global security and compliance requirements.
