Job summary

DanHil Containers II LTD is seeking Production Associates to join our busy manufacturing floor. This role requires flexibility to adapt to daily production needs and involves assembling, wrapping, banding, stitching, gluing, feeding and stacking products, and assisting with machine operations.

The position also includes Yard Jockey duties—repositioning trailers and coordinating with Shipping/Receiving to maintain smooth yard flow during peak periods, with strong attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong situational awareness, understanding trailer traffic, blind spots, and yard flow.
• Ability to perform fractions, unit conversions, and measurements for accurate production calculations.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Work with various stages of production, from raw corrugated sheets to finished products.
• Production Support: Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to efficiently complete daily tasks.
• Quality Control: Inspect products to meet company quality standards.
• Workplace Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
• Yard Jockey duties: Move, spot, and stage trailers; coordinate with shipping/receiving and production teams to support trailer flow.
• Trailer checks: verify seals, doors secured, and trailer availability.
• Maintain organized yard layout and assist during peak periods.
