Bob’s Red Mill is seeking a Production Scheduler to create and maintain a two-week production schedule for the Mill Room and Packaging departments. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations and Customer Service to meet customer demand and inventory goals.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Portland, OR and requires ERP experience, strong planning skills, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps. Day shift, Monday–Friday, full-time.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in production scheduling using an ERP.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills.

Responsabilidades

• Minimizes production line changeovers by combining like item production runs through long range planning.
• Issues and tracks work orders, assesses production progress, reviews work schedules and tracks late production orders.
• Sequences work based on due dates, material availability, machine capacity, and priorities.
• Reviews the production plan to ensure adequate levels are maintained on BRM manufactured products and updates the schedule as needed.
• Escalates scheduling issues to leadership in a timely manner to maintain efficiencies.
• Uses tools to track and prevent potential customer shortages to maintain fill rate targets.
• Maintains communication with Operations supervisors to update the production plan.
• Works with Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service on cross-functional inquiries.
• Participates in stand-up meetings to communicate changes, updates, and shortages.
• Reviews planning processes and suggests improvements to increase efficiency.
• Complies with all policies and food safety requirements; reports concerns as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
