Job summary

EQT Corporation in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a Production Engineering Technician to support engineering leadership by developing tools and processes that align data and operations. This role collaborates with field teams and 3rd party vendors to drive operational success.

The position involves project planning, data collection for milestones, maintenance data, and interface with asset teams. Requires a mechanical/chemical/petroleum engineering background and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or 3–5 years of related industry experience.
Valid driver’s license required.
Proficiency with MS Office; basic Smartsheet/Power BI/R/Coders knowledge.
Understanding of oil and gas production fluid separation.
Familiarity with ASME/ANSI specs is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting metrics.

Responsibilities

Provide project milestone updates and project planning with team and external partners.
Collect financial milestone data and ensure transparency.
Collect preventative maintenance data and align with operations.
Interface with Production/Water planning teams.
Coordinate plan-to-pay activities.
Coordinate document control program.
Manage equipment tracking and identification.
Maintain SOPs and technical specifications.
Manage EH&S data collection.
Support MOC data management and asset integrity.
Act as Vendor Compliance Team Lead.
