Talentify in Portland, OR is seeking a Business Analyst III for a 6-month hybrid role combining business analysis, product ownership, and project coordination.

The successful candidate will elicit and document requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize the backlog, and coordinate activities across stakeholders and development teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis and product ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, IT, or Computer Science.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.
• Experience with business analysis techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using interviews, workshops, and user story mapping.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
• Prioritize features and user stories based on business value and user needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Assist in creating project plans and timelines.
• Track progress and identify potential roadblocks.
• Facilitate communication between development teams and stakeholders.
• Organize and document project meetings and decisions.
• Monitor and report project status to stakeholders.
