Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Sourcing & Procurement Manager for its GSE&SC Procurement team in Sterling, VA. You will lead a specialized group handling direct/indirect procurement across hardware, software, and services, driving strategic initiatives and data‑driven updates for leadership.

You will mentor analysts, optimize pricing models, manage supplier performance, and ensure alignment with program needs while expanding catalog and BPM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree 4+ years of additional relevant experience may be considered
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, compliance, or a related discipline; experience in a FAR‑compliant government contracting environment strongly preferred
• 4+ Years of Corporate Commercial and/or FAR Regulated Supply Chain Experience (must have a minimum of 3+ years in government contracting)
• Security clearance level: No clearance required to start with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Location: Sterling, VA (Hybrid, with the expectation the selected individual will work three (3) days per week in office)
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sourcing activities are executed in full compliance with GDIT’s internal standards and all applicable government contracting regulations, including FAR and related requirements
• Champion the growth, training, and development of the team by ensuring each Analyst is fully supported and equipped to achieve high performance
• Drive measurable results across procurement associates, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve cost savings and process excellence
• Oversee staffing and personnel management, coaching, mentoring, training, performance management and development while adhering to policies
• Lead and manage catalog management including RFQs, Supplier Summits, and proposal/response analysis; collaborate to develop pricing models and catalog strategies
• Manage the supplier base to balance workload with capacity and program needs
• Oversee monthly and quarterly reports to leadership with insights and recommendations
• Lead quarterly performance reviews with top suppliers and drive corrective actions and improvements
• Manage On‑Time Delivery (OTD) through weekly reporting and follow‑up to meet SLAs
• Ensure program service level agreements are met or exceeded
• Collaborate with Program Directors and PMs to resolve blockers and align procurement actions with program needs
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and reinforce company initiatives and expectations
• Oversee non‑catalog work allocation to match capabilities and timelines
