Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our corporate Purchasing team in Somerville, MA. This onsite role supports procurement activities, ensures accurate processing of requests, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency.

The role reports to the Associate Director of Procurement Operations and will transition from a fully onsite 90-day period to a hybrid schedule with manager and HR approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with data, reports, and business systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Audit purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely resolution of issues.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding purchasing requests, order status, and procurement processes.
• Assist with supplier onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed and maintained accurately.
• Maintain purchasing metrics to support decision-making and performance management.
• Promote adherence to procurement policies and best practices while providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and procurement effectiveness.
• Perform other procurement-related duties, projects, and administrative activities as assigned.
