Charlie Health is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to drive the foundational stages of the reimbursement cycle by managing initial and mid-stay authorizations, payor notifications, and daily billing triage. You will secure timely authorizations, maintain precise documentation, and support revenue flow while minimizing financial risk during a client's treatment stay.

This role offers a hybrid schedule in Nashville and the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing behavioral health

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of healthcare administrative experience in billing, prior authorizations, or claims management.
• Strong knowledge of prior authorization processes and payor portals.
• Experience with RCM billing systems and workflow triaging.
• HIPAA confidentiality and data privacy expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with insurance payors.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Nashville (4 days/week).

Responsabilités

• Submit initial authorization requests and track outcomes to ensure coverage.
• Handle policy authorization requests for changes in coverage mid-treatment.
• Issue timely non-admission notifications to payors per contract.
• Triaging daily worklog tasks in the RCM system to move claims forward.
• Perform ad hoc authorization and billing tasks as directed.
