Cotality is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of their complex software systems. You’ll manage the evolution of Semantic Layer Web Service, driving the transition to a fully automated platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining production web services.
• Deep understanding of Knowledge Representation and Ontologies.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks like RAGAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign and scaling of the Semantic Layer Web Service.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for the delivery team.
• Design and deploy Hybrid Graph/Vector search architectures.
• Utilize Unix command line and Python for backend service development.
• Optimize performance under enterprise load.
