Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Eight+ years in mechanical or microelectronic product development.
• Experience turning concepts into production-ready electromechanical products.
• Experience designing miniature mechanical components and enclosures.
• Knowledge of plastics, materials selection, manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD models and drawings, tolerance analyses.
• Familiarity with design controls, FDA/ISO requirements.
• Effective leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of external and implantable systems.
• Develop products from concept to manufacturing and market introduction.
• Define requirements, specs and design solutions.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings and tolerance analyses.
