Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Washington state is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst - Enterprise Strategy Valuation to lead complex valuation modeling and long‑term financial planning. The role partners across the organization to translate data into insights for executives and investors.

The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with large capital projects. This is a hybrid role with Bellevue presence and broad exposure to the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively without direct supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex models for five-year planning and valuation of initiatives.
• Leads delivery of recommendations from analyses and communicates risks and opportunities.
• Develops consensus around analytical approaches across business groups.
• Creates long-term forecast for years 6–20 to support strategic planning and valuation.
• Conducts market-based valuations and benchmarking analyses to support income approach.
