Job summary

Puget Sound Energy's Financial Planning & Analysis team seeks a Principal Financial Analyst - Enterprise Strategy Valuation to shape corporate valuation, assess investments, and support strategic planning across a large, vertically integrated utility.

This role involves advanced modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering valuation insights to executives and investors, with hybrid work and substantial time in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively without direct supervision in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops comprehensive, complex models to create the five-year plan and evaluate financial and valuation impacts of operating and corporate initiatives.
• Contributes to or leads the delivery of recommendations from analyses and communicates plans to stakeholders.
• Develops consensus around analytical approaches across business groups.
• Works with business units to create long-term forecast from years 6 through 20 for strategic planning and valuation.
• Performs enterprise valuation updates and communicates insights to management and investors.
