Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Digital - Principal SRE (AI Engineer) to design, deploy, and maintain AI-driven solutions while ensuring reliability and performance of digital platforms. You will collaborate with Digital SRE engineers, data scientists, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver automated, scalable systems that meet business goals.

Responsibilities include designing AI systems, monitoring health and performance, and integrating ML models into production with SLOs and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in CS, engineering, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering, SRE, DevOps experience.
• Strong programming in Python/Java; deploying ML models.
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of observability tools and SRE practices.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible; CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-driven systems and automation tools to enhance reliability and efficiency of digital platforms.
• Monitor health, availability, and performance of AI apps using SRE practices.
• Integrate ML models into production environments for seamless deployment.
• Define SLOs, error budgets, and incident response for AI services.
• Troubleshoot AI systems and incidents leveraging observability tools.
• Document processes and runbooks for transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to design workshops and POCs shaping data-driven agent workflows.
