Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Three years of experience as Production Performance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation.
• Experience developing and maintaining machinery and equipment in manufacturing including press and automation systems, with analysis of equipment performance to identify improvements.
• CAD proficiency: AutoCAD, Unigraphics, SOLIDWORKS, Teamcenter and Teamcenter Visualization; MS Project usage.

Responsibilities

• Specify, procure, develop, integrate, and validate solutions for press and automation systems in stamping plants.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for press and automation findings.
• Collaborate with controls engineering and IT partners to establish system requirements and analyze performance for improvements.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues and supports training of production staff.
• Maintains comprehensive documentation for machine, equipment, and system design, development, and implementation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field
