Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Finance or Accounting from four‑year college or university required.
  • Some transferrable premium audit experience or sufficient combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and able to be proficient on applicable databases, systems, and vendor software programs.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex business materials and to prepare professional reports.

Responsibilities

  • Understand audit submission and audit procedures and payroll examination for classification codes.
  • Review documentation via customer portal and gather necessary information from policyholders and agents.
  • Identify discrepancies and communicate with supervisor for review.
  • Summarize audit findings and create basic worksheets to verify payroll.
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on unusual items and escalate as needed.
  • Research Bureau resources and apply company protocols and workflows.
  • Support underwriting to ensure correct application of codes and forward discrepancies for review.
  • Process final audit transactions and provide summaries to justify development.
  • Respond to basic inquiries about the audit process and standard finance workflows.
