The ideal candidate has 2 years of PR experience with earned media, agency experience preferred, established media relationships, and a college degree in marketing, communications, journalism or public relations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PR experience with earned media strategy and pitching.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Established relationships with local and/or national media.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Pitch national and local broadcast, print, digital and trade media.
• Develop PR campaigns aligned with clients’ marketing objectives.
• Meet with new clients to understand brand voice and messaging priorities.
• Maintain relationships with media contacts to drive coverage.
• Train/mentor PR specialists and interns, supporting skill development.
