HGA is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to tell the stories behind our design projects and ideas. You will collaborate with design leaders and marketing to secure earned media across national outlets, translate complex concepts into accessible content, and support a range of PR campaigns that elevate the firm’s reputation.

Reporting to the Senior PR Manager, you’ll manage media outreach, develop pitches, and monitor outcomes with a focus on timely, impactful coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–7 years in public relations or strategic communications in agency or in-house roles.
• Track record securing local to national earned media coverage.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading across press materials.
• Familiarity with media research, monitoring, and measurement tools.

Responsabilités

• Support PR planning and campaigns with senior manager guidance.
• Develop story angles, pitches, and key messages with internal teams.
• Build media relationships for local, regional, and national coverage.
• Coordinate media inquiries, interviews, and talking points for leaders.
• Track results with media monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Amplify earned media through social posts and content sharing.
• Represent HGA at events and project milestones.
