Job summary

Matter Communications Limited in Boston, MA, is seeking a creative, results-focused Public Relations Assistant Account Executive to join our hybrid team. You will support client PR programs across traditional and social channels, producing reports, securing media opportunities, and conducting industry research.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1–2+ years of PR experience with B2C clients, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related business experience.
1–2+ years of PR experience working with b2c clients.
Agency experience is a big plus.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Produce client status reports and briefing materials for meetings.
Secure client media opportunities in trade, consumer, business media and other outlets.
Conduct reliable and accurate media research and provide teams with industry-relevant news and research.
Monitor clients’ social media presence and draft social media posts on behalf of clients.
Produce strong written documents and actively participate in client/team meetings with ideas and solutions.
