Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Michigan is seeking a PD Engineer for the 10-speed RWD hybrid propulsion system. You\'ll manage release CAD/BOM, support supplier data, and drive design improvements on time.

This role requires hands-on ownership of components and collaboration across teams to meet cost, quality, and milestone targets. The position is hybrid and based in Livonia, MI, with on-site four days a week; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product development engineer responsible for 10 speed RWD hybrid propulsion systems and their integration into vehicle spaces.
• Take ownership of DV and PV strategies to deliver a best-in-class powertrain system.
• Collaborate with component engineers to drive design improvements.
• Lead teams through vehicle and transmission milestones and root-cause investigations.
• Lead testing and system signoff requirements; support manufacturing improvements; travel as needed.
