Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Power BI dashboards and semantic data models.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Tabular Editor, and DAX Studio.
• Experience connecting Power BI to BigQuery, SQL engines, REST APIs, and geospatial layers.
• Strong background in deconstructing spreadsheets and complex Excel formulas.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for BI assets.
• Ability to pass 7-year background verification.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements with stakeholders to define KPI definitions and data structures.
• Architect and document data models with row-level and column-level security.
• Connect Power BI to diverse data sources including SQL, REST APIs, BigQuery, and ArcGIS.
• Develop complex DAX measures and calculated tables/columns with high performance.
• Design intuitive, responsive reports with drill-throughs and ArcGIS mapping.
• Manage Power BI Service including workspaces, access, gateways, and data refresh.
• Collaborate using Azure DevOps and Git for BI deployments.
