Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst / Power BI Developer to build enterprise dashboards, data models and ETL pipelines using SQL and Microsoft Fabric. The role blends development with governance, analytics, and mentoring within a hybrid work arrangement.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable analytics, ensure data quality, and support digital transformation initiatives in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Background in Power BI development, including expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and dashboard automation
• Proficiency in SQL and data query optimization, with hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL workflow
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards that support enterprise reporting initiatives across Global Engineering and Technology Center.
• Build optimized data models, queries, and ETL pipelines using SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and Microsoft Fabric.
• Support ongoing dashboard sustainment, including bug fixes, performance optimization, data validation, issue resolution, and user support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to integrate new features, automate workflows, and improve existing reporting structures.
• Document dashboard logic, participate in code reviews, support testing activities, and ensure alignment with data governance and quality standards.
• Engage with technical and business partners to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that enable digital transformation and operational insights.
• Support team development by participating in knowledge transfer, mentoring junior developers, and helping implement scalable development practices.
