Job summary

The Themesoft Inc team is seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL and Oracle database solutions. You will migrate Oracle PL/SQL to PostgreSQL, tune performance, and build RESTful APIs for seamless integration with enterprise applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data platforms, implement ETL pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable deployments across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and database design.
• Experience with ETL processes and data migration activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL packages, procedures, functions, and views.
• Migrate Oracle PL/SQL code to PostgreSQL and optimize for performance.
• Tune SQL performance, analyze explain plans, and optimize execution plans.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs for database services integration.
• Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and analysts to deliver secure, scalable database solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment procedures for production changes.
