Locally owned company with over 100 years of combined experience in the automotive reconditioning industry is expanding and in need of a qualified automotive window tinter and detailer.
Pay: Base Plus Commission
Responsibilities:
- Window Tinter:
- Use proper shop tinting software to input vehicle window specifications.
- Remove dirt and debris from windows.
- Apply window primer before fitting the tint.
- Cut tint using authorized techniques.
- Apply and smooth tint onto vehicle windows.
- Correct imperfections.
- Update system with job information and completion date.
- Strip and remove old window tinting.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
2. Detailer:
- Use various cleaning equipment and solutions.
- Detail vehicles according to dealership instructions.
- Deep clean brushes, carpets, and upholstery.
- Vacuum floors and seats.
- Clean and vacuum the trunk.
- Clean out ashtrays and cup holders.
- Condition vinyl and leather.
- Remove trash, debris, and dirt from the interior.
- Use special foams and detergents for microfibers.
- Clean all vehicle glass inside and out.
- Clean mirrors with proper substances.
- Apply chemicals to protect surfaces from spots and stains.
- Use paints, waxes, and dyes to protect leather interior parts.
- Wash and rinse vehicles using hoses and pumps.
- Dry floor mats.
- Clean and polish wheel rims.
- Clean headlights, brake lights, and taillights to enhance brightness.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Previous experience as a window tinter.
- Ability to interact well with co-workers and customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Active listening and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Follow complex instructions; safety knowledge is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle and glass specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
