Jacobs is seeking a Ports & Maritime Structural Engineer in Florida to lead structural engineering efforts for coastal infrastructure projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on piers, wharves, and marine facilities, focusing on concrete and steel design and compliance with relevant codes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive structural engineering experience focusing on concrete and steel.
• Working knowledge of ACI, AISC, AASHTO and seismic design for marine structures.
• PE license or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software; familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of marine and waterfront structures per industry codes.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and specs.
• Support development of cost estimates, schedules, and bid documents.
• Lead or contribute to condition assessments, field investigations, and construction support.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, contractors, clients, and agencies.
