Job summary

Proponent in the United States (New York) is seeking a Portfolio Optimization Business Analyst to ensure pricing and product data integrity. You'll translate price strategies into automated processes and manage data across pricing and assortment, while driving data-driven decisions across the business.

The role requires advanced Excel and Power BI skills, plus experience in analytics, math, and market research to identify opportunities and improve product-line performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent is required.
• 3-4 years of related work experience in business analytics or data science.
• Ability to develop robust tools for performance tracking and operational analysis within Excel and Power BI.
• Strong skills in interpreting data trends and converting insights into practical, scalable solutions.
• Experience with market research.
• Advanced math skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate price strategies and product requirements into efficient operational processes such as automated pricing routines and data structures.
• Maintain and manage data and classification across pricing and product assortment.
• Perform commercial and data analysis to support product line and customer management.
• Lead execution and continuous improvement of key product line management processes (assortment review, dead stock review, win-rate review).
• Own and drive data- and process-based solutions to create value.
