Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Temporary PLM Assistant to support its Home Product Development team in New York. You will help maintain product information, coordinate samples, and keep data organized across internal systems.

This role is ideal for those interested in product development, merchandising, fashion, or home retail. Responsibilities include tracking samples, updating PLM/OMS data, and assisting with team reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and navigate internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Track product samples throughout the development process and maintain accurate records of sample status and location.
• Receive, unpack, organize, and distribute incoming sample boxes.
• Assist with sample setups for team reviews, meetings, and presentations.
• Maintain an organized sample area and ensure samples are easy to locate.
• Coordinate sample movement between team members and departments.
• Identify missing, delayed, or misplaced samples and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain and update product information within PLM systems.
• Enter, update, and verify item-level information to ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Review product information for missing or inconsistent data.
• Assist with ongoing product updates throughout the development cycle.
• Maintain and update product/item information within OMS systems.
• Assist with basic item maintenance and resolve data-related issues.
• Support the Product Development team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
