Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Pharmacy Accounts Auditor to perform charge capture reviews and ensure accurate billing within our pharmacy operations in Georgia. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize revenue capture and develop reporting for leadership.

The role requires a college degree or equivalent, and two years’ experience with billing systems such as EPIC/Encompass, along with pharmacy terminology knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Two years of experience with billing systems and auditing.
• Pharmacy tech registration and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of coding and billing in healthcare.
• Serves as resource for department on guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Recommends policies to streamline workflows and meet goals.
• Documents data and identifies billing and documentation errors.
• Reviews HCPCS and coding updates as applicable.
• Reviews clinical documentation for CPT/HCPCS codes and reimbursement.
• Develops training programs for departmental staff.
• Verifies data validity and adheres to policies.
• Follows through on corrective actions and evaluates interventions.
• Prepares management reports and executive summaries.
• Plans scope of review and communicates plan with leadership.
