Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist License in good standing in Texas.
• Reside in Texas within commutable distance of Flower Mound, TX.
• Six months pharmacy experience and familiarity with Windows-based apps.
• Ability to work approximately 75% from home and 25% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Review specialty medication orders for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Provide specialized patient counseling on administration, side effects and goals.
• Coordinate with providers and insurers for prior authorizations and reimbursement.
• Perform complex medication assessments and identify interactions or problems.
• Educate providers on medications, dosing, and alternatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform treatment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality and safety in dispensing.
