Orion Placement is seeking a paralegal with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to support attorneys in personal injury defense and complex civil matters. You will review medical records, manage discovery materials, and prepare case summaries, with attention to billable time and deadlines.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with onsite days, two remote days per week after onboarding, and occasional travel to Houston.

Formación

• 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
• Experience with discovery and document management or trial prep.
• Familiarity with billable-hour tracking and timekeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury defense and civil litigation.
• Review medical records, employment records, financial documents, and discovery materials.
• Prepare medical chronologies, case summaries, and document analyses.
• Organize large document productions and electronic files.
• Draft discovery requests, responses, and litigation communications.
• Identify missing docs, inconsistencies, and key evidence.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Coordinate depositions and discovery deadlines; assist trial prep.
• Maintain accurate contemporaneous billable time entries.
