Job summary

The Jewish Education Project seeks a full-time, detail-oriented Manager, People & Culture to lead our people strategy in a hybrid New York office. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, engagement, learning and performance processes, and ensure compliant, people-focused operations across the organization.

You will report to the Managing Director, Data Systems and Strategy, collaborating with the COO to turn strategy into practical, day-to-day HR actions and improvements for all staff.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of progressively responsible HR experience across talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of ADP and HRIS platforms is helpful.
• Ability to handle routine employee matters with discretion and transparency.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building, especially in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate talent acquisition activities including postings, screening, scheduling, and job descriptions.
• Oversee HR records, onboarding, and HRIS data reporting.
• Lead benefits administration and open enrollment support.
• Develop and support employee engagement, learning, and performance processes.
