Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing for 8000+ employees across multiple pay groups. The role uses Workday and Kronos in a hybrid setting, near a La-Z-Boy location.

The position supports implementing procedures to minimize errors, processes bonuses and other compensation, handles garnishments, and maintains strict confidentiality. Strong communication and meticulous time management are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Workday and UKG preferred.
• Ability to meet precise deadlines under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for Retail, Factory, Administration and Executives pay groups weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly using Workday and Kronos.
• Process bonuses, stock options, PCRP, dividends, etc.
• Provide payroll support and answer questions regarding amounts paid.
• Enter Incentive Pay timecards and review for accuracy.
• Manage garnishments and other withholding orders; ensure compliance.
• Balance wage payments and taxes.
• Coordinate interfaces with UKG, Workday, Wells Fargo, and ADP.
• Gather and analyze data to solve payroll issues.
• Maintain confidential records with high security.
