Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant experience in payment posting and reconciliation.
• One (1) year of experience processing and resolving medical billing claims.
• Extensive knowledge of medical insurance billing, billing documents, HIPAA, PHI, and state/federal rules for billing and appealing medical claims.
• Ability to read/understand insurance EOBs and payer communications to resolve outstanding bills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full range of billing duties from claim generation to final payment posting.
• Monitor, prioritize, and ensure remittances of payments; resolve edits and reconcile deposits.
• Research EOBs and payer communications to resolve reconciliation efficiently.
• Accurately post insurance and self-pay payments to patient accounts.
