Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a part-time Technical Project Manager to support a full-time PM in delivering web projects and digital initiatives. You will work with DX, development, content, and marketing to ensure intake, scoping, and on-time delivery, blending onsite and remote work.

The role requires strong CMS experience, excellent communication, and ability to manage risks and budgets across web initiatives. Hybrid schedule with 50% appointment at San Diego location is available.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of design and user experience fundamentals.
• Thorough understanding of technical language and requirements of the work.
• Thorough knowledge of content management systems and web applications used for web production.
• Ability to create clear, intuitive, functional web experiences.
• Strong understanding of organizational processes and regulations for web communications.
• Solid skills in web production tools and design software.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in our Optimizely CMS implementation.
• Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables for website projects.
• Create detailed plans with tasks and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with PM, developers, designers, and content creators.
• Communicate project updates and risks to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
