Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College's TRIO Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program is seeking a part-time, temporary Tutor Mentor to provide academic tutoring and mentoring services to UBMS participants virtually and/or in person.

The Tutor Mentor will support 9th–12th graders throughout the academic year, delivering weekly tutoring, guiding study skills, and assisting with college readiness activities in collaboration with the program staff and instructors.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Previous tutoring experience.
• Degree or in pursuit of degree in STEM, education, counseling, or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly academic tutoring and mentoring services virtually and/or in-person to 9th-12th grade UBMS participants throughout the academic year (September-May).
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
