Job summary

Excelsior University’s College of Nursing & Health Sciences is building a pool of part-time nursing faculty to support its hybrid Prelicensure BSN program in Florida. Reporting to the Department Chair, these part-time faculty roles focus on educating and mentoring nursing students in classroom, skills lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The successful candidates will play a key role in preparing students for entry-level professional practice and NCLEX-RN success through evidence-based

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited US institution or equivalent.
• Minimum one year teaching in a prelicensure nursing program or nurse residency.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Florida.
• Experience with simulation technology and high-fidelity simulations.

Responsibilities

• Teach prelicensure BSN courses in classroom, online, lab, simulation and clinical settings.
• On-site test proctoring for exams and dosage calculations tests.
